Fort Collins:NOW
We Pluribus is featured in an article in Fort Collins: NOW about our trip to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Check it out here.
Celebrity swag at Sundance, the Oscars, the Emmys, etc. is legendary. Expert shoppers scour the nation's retailers, looking for something new, different, and... well, cool. We Pluribus fits the bill! The Main Event Red Carpet Lounge is the Green Suite at Sundance. It specializes in eco-friendly, trendsetting companies. We were very pleased to participate. Read more about it on our company blog.
Now that we're officially trendy, hip, and cool, you can say you knew us when. The best thing is our message of unity, peace, tolerance, and respect for each other and the environment gets to reach a broader audience. Who knows? You may wind up seeing your favorite celebrity in one of our organic cotton, fair trade t-shirts or hoodies.
Healing Path
We're pleased to be featured in the January/February, 2008 issue of Healing Path Magazine.
Here's what they said about us:
“Way Cool” Shirts Promote Unity and Tolerance
“We the people. No exceptions.” That’s the slogan for Fort Collins-based We Pluribus, LLC; which recently launched its new website: www.wepluribus.com. We Pluribus promotes unity, tolerance, environmental and social consciousness through a trendsetting line of organic, fair-trade T-shirts and fleeces.
Clothing designs range from peace symbols to environmental messages to flags, all printed on organic cotton, fair trade garments. The company sets itself apart from the rest with its use of sustainable business practices and corporate giving. The company’s primary office is powered by renewable energy and packaging used in shipping has 90% recycled content. In addition, We Pluribus donates 10% of its income to socially and environmentally conscious non-profit organizations, including Fort Collins-based Trees, Water and People.
“We decided to get our message out in the most environmentally and socially conscious way possible,” says company president, Laura Evans. “The political climate in the US has been so divisive lately,” Evans explains, “that we started We Pluribus in order to focus on that which unites us… rather than that which divides us. Our messages are meaningful,” she continues, “but as my teenager tells me, it’s also important that our shirts and hoodies are ‘way cool.’” They are!
